Background

Claudia Tordini focuses on building well-being science research and tools into trusts and estates planning.  She is an Ivy-League certified executive coach and organizational consultant. Claudia guides clients on how inheritance can support family well-being, and particularly works with parents in crafting their inheritance vision and philosophy, which can be included in their estate planning documents. She brings a refreshing outlook to inheritance that helps parents and families break out of the fear-based approaches to financial inheritance, such as the fundamental fear that money will harm children’s development, creating a better foundation for positive and constructive relationships within the family.

Claudia is a valuable resource for our clients and team members in matters of family wealth and well-being. Her extensive research in well-being and inheritance supports the ongoing development of a new scientific approach to family wealth, which is growing in the industry and becoming the preferred path for many families. She shares some of her work in the Well-Being and Inheritance Bulletin published monthly by FKL.

Claudia is also an adjunct faculty member of the Organizational Dynamics Program (University of Pennsylvania’s School of Arts and Sciences) and The Stavros Niarchos Paideia Program at the University of Pennsylvania (a program dedicated to educating students to lead fulfilling and integrated personal, professional, and civic lives).

Claudia is a sought after speaker and writes for various publications within the family wealth and inheritance field. Together with FKL member Richard Franklin, Claudia co-authored a chapter titled A Framework for Family Wealth and Well-Being in the book Wealth of wisdom: Top Practices for Wealthy Families and Their Advisors published by Wiley in 2022. Other publications and speaking engagements are listed below.

Claudia also brings a robust background in international and domestic business’ leadership that, together with her humanistic studies and work, help her have a unique approach to matters of family wealth and inheritance.
